Where Cte Brune is dark, dense, and iron-rich, Cte Blonde is silky, floral, and luminouslighter siliceous soils produce a wine of extraordinary elegance. Ren Rostaing inherited prized parcels from Marius Gentaz and Albert Dervieux; his son Pierre now manages the estate. Aged in mostly older French oak (1015% new). A collector’s wine that rewards decades of patience.
