Discontinued in 2015

A powerful cask-strength 20-year-old single malt from the Yoichi distillery that previously bested some very high-profile Scottish malts at a blind tasting in 2003 and received 95 points in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.

Yoichi 20 was recently discontinued in 2015 and is now becoming increasingly sought after as a collectors item. Comes with original box as pictured.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Rich and savoury, bacon fat, then the peatiness comes like a cigar box, leather, caramel creme.

Palate: Big and bold, spicy attack with great fruits like apply skin and kiwi. Superb sharpness. This is followed by rich dark chocolate, and notes of old walnuts. Beautify and highly original.

Finish: Long and complex, mostly on fresh apples and cinnamon.
