New Dawn is his answer to the question every winemaker’s family eventually asks where’s the bottle we can drink with dinner? The white is a blend of Chenin Blanc (54%), Roussanne (42%) and Verdelho, sourced from sustainable Western Cape sites, fermented with native yeast in a mix of neutral oak and stainless, and rested three months on the lees for texture. It’s the rare under-the-radar weeknight white that drinks like it should cost twice as much.
