Moon Shine, also known as moonshine, is a traditionally made spirit illegally distilled in the Appalachian region of the United States. It is made with grain, sugar, or fruits and is usually straight-up uncut spirit, meaning it is not aged in barrels like some types of whiskey. Midnight Moon Cherry Moonshine is a variation of the traditional version with a twist: Cherries are included in the mash bill. This cherry-flavored moonshine smells of sweet and tart, and has a smooth and earthy flavor with a dry finish. The addition of cherries adds a tart, fruity balance to the earthy notes of this moonshine. It has an alcohol content of 40% ABV.
