Our Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength is the purest way to experience the taste created by the land, sea, and air of Islay. Once removed from the barrel after a decade, the spirit is barrier-filtered to remove unwanted char particles. Then, its straight to the bottle.

The result is a bracing, full-bodied 56.5% vol cask strength whisky of Batch 15, delivering renowned smoke with a particular rugged character and depths of sweet and spicy flavour. This dram poured neat is lively on the nose – The scent of vanilla, pipe tobacco and leather arrive together. With toffee, fudge, and cinnamon – the palate is overwhelmed with the sweet trio. Splashing in a couple drops of water draws out additional peat smoke and notes of sea salt.

Colour:Its vibrant tawny colour reflects the full strength of this whisky, hinting at the complex notes drawn from the charred oak.

Maturation:This single malt ages in charred ex-Bourbon barrels for ten years before being bottled at natural cask strength.
