Matured in 50% Bourbon casks and 50% Fino Sherry casks.

Located in Knock, Banffshire, this distillery produces a vibrant and open young spirit that has a citrusy edge. The whisky becomes thicker as it ages, especially after it loses the initial sulphur hit and begins to take on the cask influence.

In recent times, the owners have created a wetland area beyond the grounds where the spent lees is treated.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Orange, marzipan, pineapple, ginger bread, brown sugar.

Flavour: Dates, syrup cake, honey, burnt sugar, cola cubes.

Finish: Pancakes, maple syrup, milk chocolate, bramble jam, brandy snaps.
