The first generation of the 100 proof single barrel was originally released in 1997 exclusively to global travel retail. In 2010 Jack Daniel’s updated the packaging to this bottle until it was discontinued in 2015 and replaced with the current single barrel 100 proof version.

Jack Daniels Single Barrel 100 Proof Tennessee Whiskey has been hand-selected by our Master Tasters for its unique taste and smooth, aromatic character. These limited barrels are aged in the highest reaches of our barrelhouses, where the whiskeys color and taste mature an extra measure.

Each barrel is never blended, so you can expect slight differences from bottle to bottle. And since Single Barrel 100 Proof is offered exclusively in duty free airport shops, it makes for a memorable gift to any discerning whiskey drinkers collection, or simply the perfect start to your next vacation.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Caramel, sweetness, vanilla, spices, oak.

Taste: Sweet, powerful onset, lots of caramel, sweetcorn, fine spiciness, slightly bitter, lots of volume.

Finish: Longwarm spicy aftertaste with oak notes.
