Only seven men have served as Master Distiller. This special bottling celebrates Mr. Jess Motlow, who saw the Distillery through Prohibition.

1 x Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller No. 3 Lem Tolley 700mL

The third of only seven men to have served as Master Distiller is Lemuel Lem Tolley. As Mr. Jacks grandnephew Lem carried a determination to continue the tradition of making Jack Daniels with the consistency of those before him.

1 x Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller No. 4 Jess Gamble 700mL

Jess Gamble served as our Master Distiller for just two years. But it was an important time, Jess was the first of our head distillers to come from outside Jacks family. Even so, he made sure the whiskey was made and mellowed Mr. Jacks way.

1 x Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller No. 5 Frank Bobo 700mL

During the 1970s and most of the 1980s, Frank Bobo oversaw the historic rise of our Old No. 7 Brand.

Throughout his watch, he never made enough whiskey to keep up with demand; he was more concerned about making every drop according to the low, time-honored process our founder perfected.

1 x Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller No. 6 Jimmy Bedford 700mL

Like our founder Jack Daniel, Jimmy Bedford was both a farmer and a whiskey-maker, so he knew a thing or two about the importance of strong roots.

He made his whiskey Jack’s way. True to its roots and true to Jack’s words – “every day we make it, we’ll make it the best we can.”
