Boldly born in 1950, to celebrate the anniversary of Mexican independence, Hornitosdebuted as a Reposado, one of the first of its kind. We made Reposado decades before it became common practice, and to this day, it remains a symbol of our shot taking spirit.

Our Reposado rests for at least two months in large oak vats to ensure minimal contact with the wood, giving it a livelier agave taste than most wood-treated tequilas.

Tasting Notes:

• Color: Pale straw
• Nose:Fine agave, herbal and green apple notes.
• Palate:Balanced agave with apple and herbal notes, slightly woody.
• Finish:Medium to full-bodied spirit with warm, slightly astringent finish.
