A collaboration between two boundary-pushers: High West Distillery and The Prisoner Wine Company. This limited release blends aged straight rye and straight bourbon whiskeys (four to twelve years old), then finishes them in French oak barrels that previously held The Prisoner Red Blenda wine built on Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Charbono. The result is a whiskey with unmistakable red-fruit richness and a spiced, vinous depth. Bottled at a robust 102 proof (51% ABV).
