The foundation beer for the acclaimed Ola Dubh series, first brewed in 1999 at Harviestoun Brewery in Alva, Scotland. Named by original brewer Ken Brookera former Ford prototype designerafter the thick, dark motor oil it resembled. This stout is old-school Scottish brewing: full-bodied, malt-forward, designed for sipping. Multiple specialty malts create layers of roasted character without harsh bitterness.
