A single malt matured in ex-oloroso sherry casks for nine years its characteristic weighty spirit is present even in this youthful expression from Glenfarclas. There are soft, fruity aromas of dried fig, dates and red grapes on the nose , followed by a gentle spicy and nutty character reminiscent of almond, cardamom and clove on the palate.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: The sweet sherry cask influence is unmistakable – fruity aromas of ripe grapes in harmonious balance with spicy tones of cardamom and cinnamon.

Palate: Soft and round in the taste with strong notes of soft vanilla and roasted nuts, plus juicy tones of dried figs and dates – above all the sweet sherry.

Finish:Medium finish – the sherry is now very present, with slight hints of nuts and oak.
