The GlenAllachie 10 Year Cask Strength is a Speyside single malt Scotch bottled without dilution, straight from the cask at full strength. Since Billy Walker took over the distillery in 2017, the 10-year has become its calling card: matured in Pedro Ximnez, Oloroso, red wine, and virgin oak casks, then released in batches that each land at a slightly different proof. Expect a sherry-driven pour mocha, fig, toasted hazelnut, and honeycomb on the nose, then baking spice, brandied cherry, and toffee across the palate. GlenAllachie bottles it at natural colour and non-chill filtered, so the texture stays intact. Add a few drops of water to open the cask strength, or drink it neat if you want the full sherried weight.
