Glen Keith begins at an old mill on the banks of the River Isla, beside a deep pool of water. In Gaelic, this pool was known as “Linne a bhradan”, meaning “the leap of the salmon”. This is Speyside through and through: The water is pure, the views are lush and the locals know their craft.

Here, we make Glen Keith. A rarely-released single malt. The distillery’s pot stills are rare in themselves. Taller than most, the vapour rises further up each still’s long neck – an extra “copper kiss” giving Glen Keith it’s fruity Speyside style.

The whisky sleeps in first fill American oak barrels which we fill by hand. We then carefully select the casks to create a perfect balance of sweet fruit and soft spice – a taste of Speyside, it’s land and its malts.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Sweet citrus with cinnamon.

Palate: Fruity with orange and vanilla fudge.

Finish: Long, sweet with a little spice.
