A traditional Mrzen-style lager from Oakland’s Ghost Town Brewing. Mrzen is the classic Bavarian style historically brewed in March, lagered through summer, and tapped for autumn festivals. It’s a style you don’t see enough of in American craft brewing, which makes Ghost Town’s version a welcome find. Rich malt character with restraintsubstantial enough for cooler weather but balanced enough to drink more than one. A great Oktoberfest-season beer, or anytime you want something with more body than a pilsner.
