El Buho Especial Espadin Mezcal is a clear, unaged mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave. It is produced in the small village of San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico. The mezcal is made using traditional methods, including roasting the agave in an underground pit, crushing it with a horse-drawn tahona, and double-distilling it in copper stills.
