Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal Espadin Especial is a handcrafted mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave. It is produced in the village of San Luis del Rio in Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is roasted in a traditional underground pit, then crushed with a horse-drawn tahona wheel. The juice is fermented in open-air wooden vats and double-distilled in copper stills.
