It is part of the Exceptional Cask series, a series which highlights unique and extremely rare bottlings from the distillery, selected by Stephanie Macleod, Cellar Master.

This 15-year-old Craigellachie has aged in oak barrels, in ex-Oloroso barrels. The barrel imparts notes of dark chocolate, nuts and spicy fruits. No cold filtration is carried out and no colouring added, for bottling at 58.8%.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Notes of freshly sliced apricots and raisins.

Palate: Richly spicy notes of cinnamon and dill come together on the palate.
