This independent bottling comes from Craigellachie, a Speyside distillery that is known for its characteristically meaty single malt due to its use of wormtub condensers, which are known to add a slightly sulphurous character to the spirit. After 14 years in oak casks, this expression was finished in an octave cask to add a luxurious sherried complexity.
