This wine is made from 91% Zinfandel and 9% Petit Sirah, and it hits that perfect spot of being super ripe without going overboard.

It comes from Dry Creek Valley, one of Californias smaller AVAs, but definitely one ofthe coolest for Zin. And Zinfandel itself? Its a total personalitybold, spicy, jammy,and always the center of attention.

The grape has a pretty wild history, too. It started out in Croatia, traveled to SouthernItaly as Primitivo, and finally landed in California in 1849. Once it settled in Dry CreekValley, it basically became the first grape the U.S. could call its own.

This wine is full-bodied, super flavorful, and sometimes people think its sweet just because its so ripe and rich. Basically, it’s like that friend who always brings the fun without trying too hard.
