The everyday cuvee from Clement & Fils, a tiny grower house in Congy where Aurelien Clement farms 6.5 hectares organically across the Coteaux du Petit Morin and a parcel down in Les Riceys. Myosotis Champetre takes its name from the forget-me-nots that bloom between the vines each spring, and the wine has that same wildflower freshness. Built on the 2018 base from Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, it’s an Extra Brut done entirely by hand, from harvest through riddling and disgorgement. Open, fruit-forward and immediate, but with a chalky undertow that gives it the bones of something more serious.
