Ciacci Piccolomini makes some of the most sought-after wines in Montalcino, and their Rosso is the easier-to-drink version that doesn’t sacrifice character. The 2023 is ruby red with red berry fruit, soft tannins, and warmth on the palate. Meant for earlier drinking than their Brunelloapproachable without being simple. Arriving March 2026.
