A 40-year-old single-vintage Armagnac from Chteau de Pellehaut, distilled in 1983 from 100% Ugni Blancthe only grape the estate used until transitioning to Folle Blanche in 1997, making all pre-1997 vintages pure varietal expressions. Four decades in Armagnac oak have created extraordinary depth while retaining remarkable strength at around 47-48% ABV, bottled at cask strength with no filtering, coloring, or additives.
