Old-school Pomerol from the Bouldy family, who farm 8.5 hectares in the southwest of the appellation organically and biodynamically (Ecocert since 2009). The blend is roughly 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, and the style leans toward elegance over power – polished, mouth-filling, with the iron and mineral signature the appellation is famous for. The 2018 is a generous, ripe vintage in Pomerol, giving the wine plenty of plush mid-palate fruit while keeping the savory bones intact.
