Carreno Mezcal Tepeztate is a premium mezcal made from 100% agave Tepeztate. It is produced in the small village of San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is cooked in an underground oven and then fermented in wooden vats. The mezcal is then double distilled in copper stills. It has a smoky, earthy flavor with notes of citrus and herbs. It is best enjoyed neat or in a classic mezcal cocktail.
