Camp is Kenny Likitprakong’s value line from Hobo Wine Company in Santa Rosa, and the Zinfandel is one of the standouts. The bulk of this bottling comes from old-vine Lolonis in Redwood Valley, a Mendocino site farmed organically for decades, with a small splash from Vecino in Potter Valley. Fermentation happens in stainless with native yeasts at moderate temperatures to keep the wine bright rather than jammy, and aging is in older French oak so the fruit stays front and center. This is California Zin the way it used to be made: lifted, spicy, refreshing, and built for the dinner table rather than the trophy shelf.
