Bruichladdich Octomore 12.1 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay distillery of Bruichladdich. It is the twelfth release of the Octomore series, and is made from 100% Scottish barley, which has been heavily peated to 167ppm. The whisky is then matured in first-fill American oak casks for a minimum of five years. The result is a whisky with a smoky, peaty aroma and a rich, full-bodied flavor with notes of sweet vanilla, toffee, and spice.
