This southern Pfalz family estate treats its everyday bottles with the care most producers save for their showpieces, and the Pinot Noir is the proof. Farmed by hand and raised in big, neutral casks so the fruit stays front and center, it’s light, silky, and juicy, with a lower-alcohol drinkability that makes the bottle disappear. German Pinot rarely offers this much charm for so little effort chill it slightly and pour freely.
