BloodRoot’s 2024 North Coast Pinot Noir is a 100% Pinot Noir sourced from vineyards across Mendocino and Sonoma County, grown primarily in Goldridge sandy loam and clay soils. Fermented in two-ton fermenters with 15% whole cluster and pressed in a Coquard basket press, the wine is aged 18 months in French oak with 20% new, bottled at 13.7% ABV. Expressive on the nose with lush scents of macerated red and black berries, warm spice, and autumn forest, the palate is highlighted by dark plum and hints of citrus rind with great length.
