We finish our bourbon in small batches, extending the spirits maturation with our signature Blackwood toasting process. This additional step elevates notes of vanilla and caramel to create a depth that goes further than the barrels original char. Our barrel strength edition is the most genuine expression of this distinctive process resulting in a smooth, refined and complex Kentucky bourbon. One worthy of the Blackwood name.

Mash Bill: 75% Corn, 21% Rye, 4% Malted Barley.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, brown sugar, and warm baking spice

Palate: Rich toffee, caramelized sugar, sweet oak, roasted vanilla, and layered barrel spice

Mid-palate: Rounded texture with deeper toasted wood character and a balanced rye lift

Finish: Long, warming, and full with lingering caramel, oak, and spice
