Benrinnes is a Speyside workhorseits spirit usually disappears into blendsbut this 21-year-old single malt shows what it can do on its own. The maturation is layered: 15 years in refill casks, then six more in rejuvenated American and European oak wine casks. Bottled at natural cask strength (55.4% ABV), unfiltered. Rich, fruity, and full-bodieda Speyside malt with more muscle than most.
