The Bardstown Discovery Series 2 Straight Bourbon is a limited-edition bourbon whiskey from Bardstown Bourbon Company. It is made from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. It is aged for at least two years in new, charred American oak barrels. The whiskey has a deep amber color and a nose of caramel, toasted oak, and baking spices. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and baking spices. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of sweetness. This is a great bourbon for sipping neat or on the rocks.
