Centine, pronounced CHEN tee nay, takes its name from the archways at the entrances of so many rustic Italian dwellings that dot the countryside. So too, symbolically, is Centine considered the gateway to Banfi wines. The winding road lined by Cypress trees depicted on the label leads to the estates 12th century Castello.
