The Ballantines 21 Year Old Signature Oak Collection comprises the Ballantines 21 Year Old European Oak and Ballantines 21 Year Old American Oak.

The European Oak blended whisky is said to offer flavours of raisin, spices, and fruitcake, while the American oak variant is said to emphasise the vanilla, toffee and honey notes of the whisky.

Sandy Hyslop, Ballantines master blender, said: “Each of the casks are personally nosed by me to ensure a balance between liquid and cask, something George Ballantine a pioneer in the art of maturing whisky in quality casks would have approved of.”
