HOW:Using a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks for maturation, the whisky is classically Highland in style, yet located on an island far south of the Scottish region.

WHAT:Arran was founded in 1993 on the Isle of Arran and launched its first single malt in 2005. It produces just over a million liters of whisky per year (about 8% of what Glenfiddich makes annually), and has a small, yet enthusiastic fanbase of loyal drinkers that actively promote the brand within small circles around the globe.
