The Ardbeg Corryvreckan is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It is named after the Corryvreckan whirlpool, located off the coast of Islay. The whisky is made from malted barley, which is peated to a phenol level of 55 parts per million. It is then aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for a minimum of three years. The whisky has a deep, smoky flavor with notes of seaweed, peat, and spice. It is bottled at a strength of 57.1% ABV.
