Ardbeg fans have been asking for this one for roughly two decades: the standard-bearing 10 Year, undiluted. This 2026 Committee Release is the familiar Ardbeg Ten drawn from American oak ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength, non-chill filtered, with all the oils and weight that normally get stripped out on the way to a lower proof. The result is the Islay house style turned up loud: peat smoke, tar and sea spray, but with a surprising sweetness of vanilla, cinnamon and citrus riding underneath. It is a Committee bottling, meaning limited and not part of the permanent range. Pour it neat first to see what full strength feels like, then add a few drops of water; it opens up dramatically and the smoke turns from a wall into a conversation.
