The Aberfeldy 18 year finished in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks is a smooth and complex single malt whiskey. It is aged for 18 years in ex-Bourbon American oak casks before being finished in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks for a further six months of extensive maturation. This whiskey has a deep golden colour with notes of dried fruits, subtle oak, honeycomb and soft spices. The nose is sweet and fruity, with aromas of oranges, raisins, and toffee.
